Obsidian Butterfly
is a Fire Dance and Performing Arts group
offering Fire, Glow, & Performance Art shows since 2003.
Our shows include multiple styles of dance, art, music, and ritual
infused with tribal myth and fantasy to create a unique story told through movement.

Our mission

is to inspire, through creativity, positive life transformation
in the hearts and minds of our audiences.
Using music, art, and dance
to communicate a feeling deep within that causes
the inner fires to blaze, the eyes to open wide in amazement,
feet to uncontrollably stomp the ground in a rhythmic display,
a smile to form on the face,
and the heart to explode with a beaming bright love
that radiates into the world
like a beacon of contentment and spiritual bliss.  
We aspire to enrich the lives of our viewers
by bringing to them the joy, beauty, and the excitement of
Sacred Fire Dance!  

With our roots firmly planted into the earth,
we pay homage to our ancestors.
Our shows are in honor of the tribes that have
fire danced before us.
